Finite Array Radome - Multi Cell Array
The Finite Array Radome model in the Examples/Electronics Desktop/HFSS/Antennas folder contains a 77 GHz 2x2 phased array antenna and radome integration using the 3D component finite array workflow, also known as Component Array Domain Decomposition Method (CA-DDM).
This feature utilizes efficient iterative domain-decomposition-based finite element technique for modeling finite (semi-)periodic structures that contain non-identical unit cells. This simulation technique enables faster simulation times with memory usage reduction compared to simulating the finite array Domain Decomposition Method (FA-DDM) or explicit array, and it can leverage distributed computing resources with shared memory.
The included PDF 3D_Component_Finite_Array_&_Radome describes the model and techniques in detail, and describes how to run the simulation and generate a variety of reports.
