Viewing in 2D

To draw metallic objects quickly, you can consider them two-dimensional (2D) sheets with zero thickness. This ignores the side and top geometries and reduces memory usage when viewing large designs.

To view the project in 2D, click View. Then check the 2D View check box.

Note:

All planar entities can be drawn as 2D sheets, but vias are always represented in 3D. Only the visual representation of the planar entities is affected, and not the manner in which they are electrically represented.
