Simplifying Circuit Elements
To speed up the rendering of a very large or complicated layout, SIwave allows you to represent circuit elements as simple line segments. When a circuit element is simplified, only its visual representation is affected, and not the manner in which it is electrically represented by the solver.
To simplify circuit elements:
- Click View.
- Check the Simplify Circuit Elements check box.
The following image shows a Voltage Source before and after being simplified.
