Checking DC Short Connections

To check the DC short connections:

1. From the Nets workspace, select the nets for which you want to check connections. Selected nets display with checked boxes.
2. Click Tools. From the Net Operations box, click the Check for DC Short icon ().

If there are no shorts, an alert window states such.

If there are shorted areas, the coordinates are displayed in the Messages window. Click the line showing the XY coordinates to zoom in on the short in the Modeling workspace.
