TransCoil UDP

The TransCoil UDP is used to create a coil in a three-leg transformer core created by the TransCore UDP for three-phase transformers. It can also create a coil terminal for current assignment.

Note:   The key to making the cross-section of each layer of a coil to be a circle is to set the value of WidthIn equal to that of DepthIn and at the same time set the value of RadiusIn to be half of that of WidIn. That is, WidthIn=DepthIn=2*RadiusIn.

The cross-section of a layer could be a non-circle if the value of WidthIn is not equal to that of DepthIn or RadiusIn’s value is not half of WidthIn’s. RadiusIn of TransCoil shows a situation where a layer is a non-circle.
