Defining the Shaft Data for a Switched Reluctance Motor

To define the shaft:

1. To open the Shaft Data Properties window, double-click the Machine > Shaft entry in the Project Manager tree on the desktop. (You can also enter values in the Properties section of the desktop without opening a separate window.)
2. Select or clear the Magnetic Shaft check box to specify whether or not the shaft is to be made of magnetic material.
3. Click OK to close the Properties window.
