Creating a Project and Inserting a New RMxprt Design

To create a new project:

  1. Click File > New.
  2. A new project is listed in the Project Manager tree. It is named Projectn by default, where n is the order in which the project was added to the current session.

    Project definitions, such as material assignments, are stored under the project name in the project tree.

  3. Click Project > Insert RMxprt Design or select RMxprt from the Maxwell drop-down menu on the Desktop ribbon.
  4. The Select Machine Type window appears.

  5. Select the machine type you want, and click OK.
  6. Specify the name of the project when you save it using the File > Save or File > Save As commands.
