A report is generated using the New Report window. The appearance of the New Report window differs depending on the type of design:
- EM Design (HFSS_3DLayout, Planar EM)
- Circuit Design (Nexxim, Nexsys)
the type of report:
- Standard Report
- Constellation Report
- Eye Diagram Report
- Statistical Eye Report
and the type of display:
- Polar Plot
- Data Table
- Smith Chart
- 3D Polar Plot
- Rectangular Plot
- Smith Contour Plot
- 3D Rectangular Plot
- Rectangular Stacked Plot
- Rectangular Contour Plot
Note: Depending on the
nature of your installation and the projects loaded into Electronics
Desktop, at times only a subset of the types listed above may appear
in the display-types submenu.
When you have selected the display type (e.g., by clicking Product > Results > Create Standard Report > Rectangular Plot) a New Report window opens that allows you to create the report. The following topics describe how to fill out the New Report window for various types of reports and displays.
