TYP Parameter Effects

The TYP Parameter sets the allowable range of values affecting multiple IBIS buffer parameters:

typ = midrange of all values

min = minimum of all values

max = maximum of all values

fast = maxima and minima selected to produce the fastest transitions.

slow = maxima and minima selected to produce the slowest transitions.

The following table lists the effects on IBIS buffer parameters when the TYP parameter is set to Fast or Slow. In general, the Fast setting sets maxima and minima to provide the fastest transitions, while the Slow setting seeks to provide the slowest transitions.
