Mesh Refinement Settings (Optional)

Mesh operations are optional mesh refinement settings that provide HFSS with mesh construction guidance. They can give adaptive refinement a head-start and may accelerate the convergence of the solution. Although assigning mesh operations like seeding can further refine the mesh and may help in generating rapidly convergent results, for most practical purposes, the adaptive meshing technique alone is sufficient to produce accurate results. You must know beforehand where mesh operations apply; otherwise the mesh will be needlessly refined.

The following examples demonstrate adaptive mesh refinement occurring with mesh seeding.
