Displaying DC IR Loss
In Icepak, you can display SIwave DC IR loss data in the 3D Modeler window by selecting layers on the EM Loss tab in the Properties window or Properties dialog box. The linked HFSS 3D Layout design must have results data for the EM loss maps to be displayed.
When you select a layer from the Properties window, the corresponding data is displayed in the 3D Modeler window.
When you select a layer from the Properties dialog box, click OK or Apply to display the corresponding data in the 3D Modeler window.
Note: When multiple layers are selected to display, the range of values shown on the color legend reflects the local maximum and minimum of all layers displayed.
Note: The 3D Modeler color legend for EM loss maps can not be moved or edited.
Note: You are currently unable to view EM loss map layer information (number of sources, power values, and power density values).
Note: If you use the Clean Up Solutions option in the linked HFSS 3D Layout design, the EM loss maps are still displayed in the Icepak design. To hide the EM loss maps, reselect the PCB in the Project Manager.
