Stopping an Autoscaling Cluster

When you stop an autoscaling cluster that is in the Running state, the head node and any running compute nodes are shut down, and no one can submit jobs to it.

To stop an autoscaling cluster:

1. Open the project space containing the autoscaling cluster.

2. In the resource list, click the autoscaling cluster to display its details.

3. In the cluster view, click and select Stop cluster.

   The cluster state becomes Stopping. When all nodes have been stopped, the cluster goes into the Stopped state.
