Configuring Ansys Elastic Licensing

Prerequisites: You must have an Ansys Elastic Licensing entitlement. To configure licensing, you must have a tenant administrator role.

When using Ansys Elastic Licensing, pay-per-use licenses are accessed through a cloud-based license server managed by Ansys. This licensing system enables hourly-based licensing of applications through the consumption of Ansys Elastic Units (AEUs). To configure elastic licensing, specify the Elastic License server ID and Elastic License server PIN.

  1. On the Administration > License Settings page, locate Ansys Elastic licensing and click Configure.
  2. In the configuration dialog, specify the Elastic License server ID and Elastic License server PIN.
  3. Click Save.
  4. To use Ansys Elastic Licensing, ensure that its toggle is on.
