2.1. Importing and Exporting DOORS Requirements

Bi-directional DOORS Interface

The IBM DOORS importer has been aligned with the other ALM/PLM connectors supported by medini analyze and now imports standard requirements modules. This includes support for importing relations, pushing changes from medini analyze to the DOORS database, and exporting DOORS modules. You can also disconnect requirements models from DOORS.

Note:

  • If you have legacy DOORS modules, you must migrate them to continue using them, and update any .mapping files. For more information, see the "DOORS Integration" section of the Ansys medini analyze User Guide.

  • Hard-coded attributes mapped to DOORS are no longer supported

  • Export and Push Updates are beta features
