Ansys medini® analyze™ is an integrated tool solution which supports a variety of the safety analyses, design and management activities required by ISO 26262, ARP 4754A, IEC 61508, and related safety standards. Depending on the application context (e.g. OEM or Tier-Supplier) and depending on the safety process established in the client organization, the activities executed by the users of Ansys medini analyze may substantially differ.

This safety manual provides a guideline for safe operation of Ansys medini analyze. In order to meet all tool classification criteria that have been identified during tool qualification, detailed requirements and constraints for the functionality are given in the following sections of this guideline.
