6.7. How to Show Control Grid in Refinement

Start a new lsprepost: Click File > Import > LS-DYNA Keyword File. Open show_control_grid.k. Click FEM > Element and Mesh > Nurbs Editing.

  1. Select the radio button K-Refine.

  2. Check Show Control Grid and Keep Geometry.

  3. Pick a NURBS element.

  4. Set new parameter in the text field degree in R-direction and S-direction respectively.

  5. Click Apply to refine the NURBS element. The new control grid of the refined element appears.

  6. Click Accept to add the new NURBS element into database.
