Behavior Execution Engine (BEE) Plug-In Installation

Note: Behavior Execution Engine must be installed in order to use the BEE Plug-In in ModelCenter.

Install Behavior Execution Engine

  1. Install ModelCenter Remote Execution and ModelCenter.
  2. Install MagicDraw/Cameo 2019 or later.
  3. Download the Behavior Execution Engine .zip file from the AGI website.
  4. Extract the file.
  5. Run the setup.exe file.

  6. On the Welcome screen, click the Next button.

    On the Welcome screen, click the Next button.

  7. On the License Agreement screen, select the "I accept" option and then click the Next button.

    Accept the license terms and click the Next button.

  8. On the Install Type screen, select the type of installation and then click the Next button.

    Select if the install is only for the current user or for all users on the computer.

  9. On the Destination Folder screen, click the Change button to set a new destination folder, if desired, and then click the Next button.

    If needed, change the installation location.

  10. On the Ready to Install the Program screen, click the Install button.

    Click the Install button to install the Behavior Exection Engine.

  11. After Behavior Execution Engine has installed, the InstallShield Wizard Completed screen displays. Click the Finish button.

    Click the Finish button after the Behavior Exection Engine is installed.

Install the BEE Plug-In

  1. Start MagicDraw/Cameo.

  2. From MagicDraw/Cameo, select the Help > Resource/Plugin Manager option. The Resource/Plugin Manager dialog opens.

    The Resource/Plugin Manager dialog shows the available resources.
  3. Click the Import button.

  4. A file select dialog will open. Select the file in the <BEEInstallDir>/plugin folder that matches your MagicDraw/Cameo version.

    Select the folder that matches your MagicDraw or Cameo version from the list.

    If the com.agi.moxie.stk.zip folder is available, select that as well.

  5. Click the Open button. The plugin will be installed.

    A dialog displays to indicate that the plugin was successfully installed.
  6. Restart MagicDraw/Cameo.
  7. Open the Behavior Execution Engine Client Licensing Settings application from the Start menu. Set up the license server information for BEE.
