Label Settings

Change display settings for chart annotation labels, including Data labels, Envelope labels, and Text labels.

Click Settings and go to the Labels tab to change fonts and other settings for labels on charts in Granta Selector.

  • Data labels annotate individual records on a chart, and are the record's name in the database by default.
  • Envelope labels annotate family envelopes on a chart with that envelope's name.
  • Text labels are added to a chart using Text label on the chart toolbar.
Tip: Changing these settings will only affect the appearance of new labels - existing labels on charts will stay the same.

On the Labels tab in the Settings dialog:

  1. Click Format next to the label type you want to change.
  2. In the Format Label dialog:
    1. Edit the Text color, Fill and Background as required.
    2. Click Font... to edit font type, style and size. Click OK.
    3. Click OK to save your changes.
  3. Click OK.
