Global Metals Specifications

Compilation of metal standards and specifications, incorporating ASM Alloy Finder, StahlDat SX (the complete Register of European Steels - 'Stahl-Eisen-Liste'), SAE International, MI-21 (part of the World Metals Index) and the Steel Specification Handbook published by UK Steel. Provides composition and classification information for ~100,000 metal standards from global standards organizations and suppliers. Particularly useful for identifying global equivalents.

Sheet Steels

A property data resource containing information on sheet steels from two sources - the StahlDat Sheet Steels dataset (compiled by Matplus GmbH) and data compiled by voestalpine Stahl GmbH. Both datasets are licensed for distribution by ANSYS, Inc. Provides mechanical and processing information on 130+ grades of sheet steels commonly used in the automotive and manufacturing industries, with summary datasheets linked to underlying raw test data.

Powder Metallurgy

Output of a joint project between the world's leading Powder Metallurgy trade associations in Europe (EPMA), North America (MPIF) and Japan (JPMA). Provides information on over 550 ferrous and non-ferrous powder forged and metal injection molded (MIM) grades used in bearings (self-lubricating) and structural applications. Includes data on how performance varies with density of the sintered material

ASME BPVC

Part II-D of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) that provides rules for the design, fabrication, and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels. Provides over 4,900 datasheets covering the temperature dependent performance of 521 materials in various forms, thicknesses and heat treatments.
