Deleting materials

If you have identified materials that do not apply to your environment, you can permanently delete records in the MI Pro Materials Data database.

  1. In MI Explore, double-click the material to open its datasheet.
  2. In the datasheet toolbar, click Delete.
  3. Click Yes to confirm.

The material record is deleted permanently, for all users.

Note: Any changes you make to Preferred Materials will not be visible to CAD and CAE users in MI Materials Gateway immediately. See Communicating changes to other users.
