Removing the IAM Roles

The two IAM roles that are assumed by Ansys Access on Microsoft Azure are a critical component of Ansys Access on Microsoft Azure as they allow actions to be performed in your Azure Active Directory.

Ansys advises that you do not delete these roles manually from Azure Active Directory.

To remove the IAM roles, Ansys recommends that you remove the Azure subscription from Ansys Access on Microsoft Azure.

When the Azure subscription is removed from Ansys Access on Microsoft Azure, the IAM roles and their assignments are deleted from Azure Active Directory.
