Allowing or Forbidding Local Drive Mapping on Virtual Machines
Local drive mapping enables users to easily transfer data between their local Windows machines and the virtual desktops to which they connect (see Local Drive Mapping in the User's Guide).
By default, local drive mapping is allowed for all users. When it is allowed, each user can decide whether they would like their local drives to be automatically mapped to virtual desktops (see Enabling or Disabling Local Drive Mapping for your Virtual Desktop Sessions in the User's Guide). If desired, an administrator can forbid local drive mapping for all users through a global setting.
To control whether local drive mapping is allowed:
-
On the main toolbar, click
to access the Administration
page. In the navigation pane, select Tenant settings.
On the Tenant settings page, toggle the Allow users to automatically map local disk drives setting.
